Boceto en barro 1

With this piece I wanted to experience drawing in mud for the first time. A layer of a mixture of water and mud was applied, as the shapes took form and dried, the landscape was then revealed. Multidirectional marks with pen made the last layer that would appear to stand out the details and uniqueness of this piece. It is believed that earth and mud has memory and as an intermediary, I felt very driven by how the mud would behave after every stroke and that it would reveal such image.
